- System Administrator
St. John Eye Hospital –
Jerusalem is seeking to hire a System Administrator. This position will provide
support to the hospital and its clinics. In addition to user support, the
successful candidate will work on setting and administrating all hospital IT
infrastructure.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
1-Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
2-Maintain and administer Active Directory, Domain Controller, DNS, and Exchange Server 2010.
3-Co-supervise the implementation of the new Hospital Information System.
4-Maintain the new HIS after installation in addition to provide training and technical support for employees.
5-Linux administration and maintenance including squid, apache, and security options.
6-Knowledge in Internet security and maintaining of firewalls.
7-Some knowledge in IP and Digital PBX.
8-Good knowledge in programming languages including Java, PHP and .Net programming.
9-Database structure and design
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
1-Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
2-Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Linux and Microsoft.
3-Solid experience in administering and managing Microsoft Active Directory, User Accounts,
Policies, DNS, DHCP, Regular Backup, etc.. , Using Windows Server 2003, 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.
4-Four to six years’ system administration experience.
5-Minimum of 3 years of Linux server administration familiar with common distributions (Redhat, Debian/Ubuntu)
6-Thorough understanding of the Linux OS and the LAMP stack, proficient at configuration, optimization and troubleshooting.
7-Good English Language
8-PHP, Java and .Net programming languages.
9-The ability to work under pressure and out-side of official working hours.
