people to survive and rebuild their lives. Première Urgence-Aide Médicale
Internationale merged in 2011 to offer a better range of life saving care and
life-changing assistance to communities affected or forced to flee from war or
disaster.
SCOPE OF WORK: The West Bank/Mission Logistics Assistant is responsible for compilation of the logistics data for the entire PU-AMI mission in oPt and the follow-up and the implementation of the logistics tasks for the structure in WB (Ramallah Coordination office & Qalqilya Field Office). S/He will ensure that the required documentation is available in the logistics folder of the mission to comply international standards and the national policies of PU-AMI on the mission. S/He will ensures that the needs of the mission in WB are well complied for the structural part.
The West Bank/Mission Logistics Assistant reports to the Admin/log Coordinator and receives documents and information from the WB log manager and the GS Admin/log Manager.
Base: Ramallah base
TEAM: No team management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1-Handle, archive and follow up logistics and procurement for the structure of the mission in the West Bank.
Under the supervision of the Admin/Log Coordinator, S/he:
Ensure the procurement of the mission for the structure of the mission in the WB
Ensure the Office and Guest House follow-up
Ensure the fixed assets follow up of the mission in WB
Ensure the followup of the vehicle fleet of the mission in the WB
Ensure logistics activities are closely coordinated with programme, administrative and management teams. Undertake additional activities as required by your supervisor.
2-Ensure correct filing, archiving and reporting of the logistics and procurement document of the opt mission.
Under the supervision of the Admin/Log Coordinator, S/he:
Ensure the collect, the filing and the reporting of the purchase documents of the mission
Ensure the archive follow up
Ensure the collect and good filing of the fleet management document of the mission
Ensure the collect, the filing and the reporting of the Contract of the mission
Ensure the collect, the filing and the reporting of Asset inventory of the mission
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications and Experiences
-University degree in logistics, procurement, business administration or related fields.
-Minimum 2 years relevant experiences
-NGO experience and knowledge of donor requirements is an asset
-Desirable experience of government, UN or international organization logistics routines
-Desirable Knowledge about different emergency donor procurement procedures.
Skills & abilities
-Knowledge and experience of promoting gender equity, and an active commitment to promoting the interests of marginalized/vulnerable people in all aspects of PU-AMI’s work
-Proven interpersonal skills.
-Fluency in Arabic and English. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Excellent computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel and Access.
-Ability to work under pressure, long work hours, and heavy workload.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work.
-Proven ability to plan and manage owns time and others.
-Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Flexibility, adaptability, culturally sensitivity, sense of humor.
-Clean Driving license; ability to move round throughout all WB & Jerusalem.
