KfW covers a large range of activities, including investment financing,
world-wide export and project financing, development cooperation as well as
advisory services.
Within KfW Group, KfW
development bank finances investments and accompanying consulting services in
over 60 developing countries. It works on behalf of the German Federal Ministry
for Economic Cooperation and Development and other donors, such as the European
Commission. In the Palestinian Territory, KfW development bank is providing on
behalf of the German Government financing and assistance especially in the
water, wastewater, educational, financial and governance
sector.
For
its office in Ramallah - Al Bireh, KfW development bank is looking for a
Programme Coordinator
Main
Duties:
•
Follow up and support on ongoing and planned activities on project and sector
level, especially in the education, governance and financial
sector.
•
Provide analytical input with respect to selected policy and strategy documents
as well as review reports in liaison with the Project Manager at KfW
Frankfurt;
• Act
as a resource person accompanying missions and key experts working in the
field;
•
Prepare relevant documentation and reporting;
•
Maintain necessary communication and ensure good relations with appropriate
bodies and other projects/programs and partners in agreement with the Project
Manager at KfW Frankfurt;
•
Participate in relevant events and represent KfW in meetings, working groups,
workshops, etc;
•
Provide support to the Office Director and the Project Manager where
needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
• At
least three years of experience in the design and implementation of
International Development Cooperation initiatives in the Palestinian
Territory;
•
University degree in Economics, Public Management or Development related
fields;
•
Profound expertise in analyzing financial management issues
•
Familiarity with requirements and procedures of bi-and multilateral
organisations and specifically of German Development Cooperation
Organisations.
•
Readiness to travel within West Bank, Gaza and abroad;
•
Excellent Command of Arabic and English;German Language is an
asset
•
Proven track record of team-working experience
