World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a: Communications Officer
The successful candidate will:
-Provide communications and media relations support internally and externally
-Participate in developing a communications strategy for WV JWG
-Plan and produce feature stories, news articles, publicity materials, press releases, photographs, and videos-Assure that photo, story and information assignments are properly processes through the WV systems and databases Assist in rapid response communication in times of crises

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, Public Relations, -Development Science or a related field Minimum 2 years' related experience
-Excellent written and verbal skills (English and Arabic). Hebrew is desirable-Experience in producing written materials for media purposes

-Understanding of the geopolitical, economic and social issues in the region
-Knowledge of various communications software including image manipulation and word processing
-Committed to achieving quality results and service
-Effective skills in communication of information and ideas
-Self-motivated, a team player with good time management skills
-Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills
-Knowledge of photography required and Photo shop is preferred
-Journalistic background is an asset
-Valid driver's license for travel between Jerusalem and the West Bank-Position is based in Jerusalem
-Knowledge of various communications software including image manipulation and word processing
-Committed to achieving quality results and service
