Chief Cook

2. Duty Station : Qalqilia Hospital
3. Department : Health Department
4. Basic Salary : JD 427.4 that
varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency Other fringe
benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
5. Allowances : Family Allowances
payable up to 7 children and spouse.
6. Qualifications :
• Completion of
elementary school and sound training (formal on the-job) in the cooking art.
• At least five
years cooking experience in a larger institution, restaurant, hotel, etc. Some
experience in the management and supervision of larger kitchens and kitchen
staff.
• Good knowledge of
Arabic dishes and their preparation. Knowledge of the economical use of food,
i.e., use of “left over” food preservation, imaginative.
• Good knowledge of
written and spoken Arabic and working knowledge of English.
DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS
One year course in
catering from a recognized institution.
