The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is a German political
foundation affiliated with the German party “Die Linke” (Left Party).
RLS is a provider of civic education
and a center for progressive social research (www.rosaluxemburg.ps and
www.rosalux.de).
We announce the following vacancies to support our team in RLS Ramallah Office:
Position: Financial Officer (part time, 50%)
Main tasks and responsibilities:
-Participate in developing, implementing and monitoring financial operations, procedures and systems
of RLS
-Participating in planning and controlling budgets and financial reports related to measures implemented
within the program of RLS
-Supporting RLS in administrative tasks
Professional and personal requirements:
-Minimum of BA degree in financial administration, accounting, business administration
-Minimum of 5 years professional experience in financial management, book keeping and accounting,
international accounting certification is an asset
-Sharing the understandings of RLS
-Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English; German is an asset
-Convenience in working in an international setting
-Highly motivated, self-sufficient, well-organized
The position will be offered to the selected candidate from 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2014.
