ANERA is an international, non-profit, non-governmental
organization implementing infrastructure projects in the West Bank and
Gaza.
ANERA is recruiting
for the following vacancies to serve under its newly awarded Palestinian
Community Infrastructure Development (PCID) Program, a five year
USAID-funded
program to be based in its Jerusalem office as follows:
Procurement
Assistant:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist in drafting
procurement solicitation documents such as RFQ, RFP
-Participate in
tenders evaluation, prepare tender analysis forms and minutes of meetings
-Assist in drafting
purchase orders, sub-contracts, service agreements and other contractual
documents and review all supporting documents to insure compliance with both
USAID regulations and ANERA’s policies
-Maintain and ensure
proper filing system for procurement documents
-Liaise with local
and international suppliers/vendors and maintain a list of vendors and
suppliers
-Follow proper, fair,
and transparent processes regarding solicitations
-Follow policies,
procedures and be attentive to authorization limits and controls that are put
in place
-Maintain tracking
system for all PCID procurement transactions
-Maintain tracking
system for all assets procured under PCID program
-Complete any other
tasks assigned by the Procurement and Compliance Manager
Minimum Requirements:
-First level
university degree in business administration, finance, or related field
-At least two-three
years experience working in procurement/ operations role with an international
development organization, preferably on USAID-funded programs
-Attention to details
with strong ability to multi-task
-Experience with MS
Office Suite
-Fluency in Arabic
and English
