Stars
of Hope Society (SHS) is a leading organization for women with all types of
disabilities in Palestine that was established in late 2006 and became fully
operational in 2007, with its national secretariat based in
Ramallah.
It is
a Disabled People’s Organization (DPO) and its run by women with disabilities
for women with disabilities. It is the only organization of its kind in
Palestine and one of a small number internationally.
Stars
of Hope Society aimsto ensure opportunities in all walks of life for all women
with disabilities.
The
organization is seeking for Qualified Consultants to complete its activities for
2013 in the following fields at national level and possibility regional
level:
-To produce situation analysis report with regards to
gender, disability and access.
-To develop training toolkits and training materials
on advocacy, disability rights and mainstreaming.
-To develop policy papers around gender and disability
based on the organization’s thematic directions.
-To develop legal reviews.
