Position:
Projects Coordinator Location: Gaza Strip Contract: Full time Duration : 6 months, renewable. Position Profile and Key
Responsibilities:
Organization of the Islamic
cooperation – Gaza Coordination office is looking for an individual to manage
It's Programme in the Gaza strip. Responsibilities include Programme day-to-day
management, grant management , Programme administration and representation. He/
She should develop concept technical management of the project.
-Programme management:
Financial and administrative management including donor and internal reporting
on Programme and related issues, prepare project protocols and data collection
forms, ensure projects activities are implemented in accordance with
Organization policy and internationally recognised standards.
-Logistical support:
Undertake major procurement, ensuring all necessary paperwork has been prepared
and processed correctly according to Organization procedures. Ensure monthly
logistic reports are delivered on time and of high quality.
-Gather regular information
on indicators and use this data for assessing progress against objectives along
with other relevant data.
-Representation and
communication: Developing good relationships with donors. ensure that the
Organization activities are understood and publicized .effective communications
and coordination about program impact and development with stakeholders within
and outside Organization. Attend, contribute to and report on relevant program
(coordination and security meeting with INGO's, UN, Authorities, donors and
other relevant stakeholders.
-Human resources
management: Contribute to staff recruitment and management processes such as
developing job descriptions, undertaking interviews, contracting, providing
induction/ briefing, conducting appraisals, Plan and approve staff leaves and
other requirements in cooperation with the Organization Director.
Key Competencies /
Skills:
-A minimum of Bachelor
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related.
-Proven ability to work
creatively, innovatively and effectively with limited direct
supervision.
-Ability to prioritize
workload, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
-Knowledge of the
Palestinian sector needs.
-Confident and proficient
in the use of MS- office.
-A mature understanding of
relevant issues in the management of humanitarian programs.
-Proven administrative and
numeric skills and ability to think strategically.
-Experience in financial
tracking / monitoring.
-Excellent interpersonal ,
communication and networking skills, with a good understanding of team
work.
-Fluency in spoken and
written English.
-Experience in working with
partners.
-Proven donor Report
writing skills.
