Officer

Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “F” – S1 979.80-2,345.0 JD that
varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
5.
Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits (Medical
Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor.
6.
Qualifications:
• A
university degree, preferably, in finance, accounting or related
field.
•
Five to seven years of progressively responsible, professional experience
working with complex accounting or budgeting operations.
•
Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English.
Competencies
•
Computer literate and skilled in the usage of standard software
applications.
•
Ability to adapt to difficult working environment, under pressure and with
limited timeframes.
•
Ability to take initiative and maintain effective relationships with all
concerned.
•
Strong communication skills.
•
Solid proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting.
Desirable
Qualifications
• The
incumbent will be required to travel frequently throughout the West Bank and
East Jerusalem.
•
Possession of a valid driving license would be desirable.
•
Experience in operation of UNRWA’s Financial Management System.
•
Relevant professional experience in a large/international
organization.
