A private company
based in Ramallah, is looking for a Social Media Specialist with the drive and
desire to succeed.
The role involves:
-Launching and managing online communities including but not limited to:
-Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Twitter & Blogging
-Develop and implement strategic plan to grow client social media audience
-Running Company Blogs
-Strengthen the brand and engage community on social media by producing creative and compelling content
-Manage the day-to-day execution of social media messaging
-Create strategy and help secure social media marketing and influencer partnerships
-Update and maintain client’s website and blogs
-Grow web traffic by evaluating and improving the site’s SEO
-Write clear, compelling communications and feature stories for the web /blog for targeted market
-Serve customer via online support, social networks, microblogging (twitter), forums and more.
-Build and edit e-communications using tools
-Create innovative and exciting methods for public awareness and engagement
-Communicate new corporate developments
-Contribute to brand positioning, product, service and website on the Internet through their online activity
-Interact actively talking to customers in social networks, blogs, microblogging and forums
-Monitor the web for comments on the company, its products and services, and report on those comments, criticisms, complaints and opinions to those responsible within the company
Job Requirements:
-Passion for the social media space. Demonstrated engagement in and experience of building personal networks of friends, fans and followers.
-Sound understanding of all social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, blogs, wikis, widgets, RSS feeds, and apps.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent project management skills
-Knowledge of basic HTML and photo editing
-Strong understanding and regular utilization of web analytics
-Understanding of financial market is an advantage
