Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for its office inGaza.
Title: Virtual Work Project Coordinator
Ref: VWPC/P/06/2013
Duration: 14 months (full time).
Main duties:
• Coordinate with relevant institutions to facilitate the project planning and implementation.
• Prepare work plans and time schedules for implementing the project activities.
• Supervise the implementation of the project activities by the partners, trainers, and mentors.
• Participate in selection of beneficiaries, trainers and mentors and other institutions as necessary and preparing and managing contracts with them.
• Responsible for establishing and running of the virtual work support unit.
• Make sure that donors’ requirement in terms of project implementation
and reporting and other quality and timeliness are fully met.
• Prepare regular progress reports on the project as requested by the donor requirements and Islamic Relief.
Candidates must possess the following competencies:
1. Bachelor degree in IT, management or related field.
2. Five years of experience in projects management preferably in international NGOs.
3. Proven relevant working experience in projects related to virtual work and outsourcing
General skills required for Coordinator:
1. Excellent written and spoken English as well as Arabic language
2. Strong planning and coordination skills.
3. Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.
4. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Ability to multi-task effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
