Role Summary & Duties and
Responsibilities:
-Provide high-quality technical support for all enterprise applications Infrastructure that includes but not limited to (Oracle ERP, POS, HP Service Manager, Visit Management System, etc...). The Application Support Engineer is also responsible to coordinate, implement changes and apply patches to production and, test applications.
-Provide technical support for enterprise applications including problem isolation and resolution in a timely manner.
-Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
-Participation in providing training to end users as required.
-Providing configuration and administration support on all enterprise applications.
-Apply application upgrades, updates, patches, and fixes.
-Managing application security and user account administration and permissions.
-Monitoring applications performance and ensure that users are following proper system protocols by performing regular system audits.
-Perform applications quality assurance testing
-Producing documentation for the configuration, operation and support.
-Monitors software licenses to ensure compliance. All software licenses are current and meet compliance standards.
-Install new software applications, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
-Minimum 2 years of application support experience highly preferred, including support on the Oracle eBusiness Suite (ERP).
Skills & Qualifications:
-Strong familiarity with SQL, PLSQL and Oracle Development tools.
-Good knowledge with Oracle ERP.
-Good knowledge with ASP.NET, HTML, Java, Java script.
-Good knowledge with Databases Management Systems.
-Good knowledge with Unix/Linux platform.
-Good understanding of Windows operating systems and active directory.
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent customer focus
-Ability to analyze and prioritize
-Proactive approach
-Problem solving skills
-Arabic and English (Oral & Written
