About Elamona
Elamona for Media Research and Development is a Palestinian independent and non-profit organization; Elamona promotes civic development, and increases awareness among civil society institutions on effective ways of networking with the private sector, international donors, and governmental offices. 
It conducts studies and surveys in the field, and serves the needs of the local media while shifting into the digital age, and embracing innovative trends and practices in the industry with the assistance of an experienced team of local and international media experts, by offering e-learning programs and mid-career training, and facilitates the entry of new graduates into professional practice of journalism through its e-learning college (Tamkeen Academy).
Elamona (our media in Arabic) also focuses on providing learning opportunities and continuous development to help improve and consolidate journalists’ and other media practitioners’ both personal and organizational performance, so they can adapt to the changes and challenges of the new century.
The area of intervention for Elamona includes strengthening the cooperation and networking between civil society groups to maintain independence of media and curb attempts to control it. Therefore, establishing a social network can be an effective strategy for empowering the public. When in use the network serves various purposes, among them is providing journalists with information and ideas on how to report in a particular context and defend social values, rights and freedoms.

Office Manager Responsibilities & Duties
Elamona is seeking an office manager who will be responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
-Handle all clerical, administrative and secretarial responsibilities and tasks given by office staff.
-allocation of resources to enable task performance
-coordinate for office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency
-design and implement filing systems
-ensure filing systems are maintained and current
-establish procedures for record keeping
-implement and monitor record keeping
-ensure security and confidentiality of data
-ensure the implementation of office policies and procedures
-ensure office policies and procedures are being adhered to
-prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency
-monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
-review and approve office supply acquisitions

Education and Experience
-a business degree or equivalent
-Very good English
-knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
-knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
-knowledge of business and management principles
-computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
