Background
Palestinian family planning protection association (PFPPA) is an independent non-profit association established in Jerusalem 1964, and enjoying a full membership in the international
planned parenthood federation (IPPF) , PFPPA provides various services on sexual & reproductive health; it’s also offers training for young leaders and staff from other governmental organization. Moreover, it’s provides unique medical services on women’s health , laboratory tests, counseling, raising awareness, advocating for women’s rights, conducting applied research and organizing , lobbying and advocacy campaign to influence the national policies.
The Resource Mobilization supporting strategy (RM) has been designed to improve the capacity of Palestinian family planning protection association (PFPPA) to deliver and achieve diversified sources of income in order to sustain the (PFPPA) programs and projects. PFPPA programs and projects cover Hebron, Bethlehem, Halhoul, Ramallah, Jerusalem and Gaza Strip. The programs focus to increase resources by securing funds from current and potential donors and develop a 5 yrs Resource Mobilization strategy document.
The programs objectives are in line with global development framework of IPPF Arab World Region. The Project’s expected results are to strengthen collaboration with international, regional and local donors through communications, relationships, partnership and networking to secure sustainability.
PFPPA resource funding is provided by the core budget from the IPPF and income generating through their services delivery points and proposals opportunities.
The RM strategy will be for the next five [2013 till 2018]
The strategy purpose
The strategy will assess the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, performance and sustainability of the PFPPA RM.
The strategy will also assess whether the RM has resulted in positive changes in achieving diversified findings to sustain the PFPPA programs and projects. Lessons will be identified and the findings will be used to improve future programming.
Specific resource mobilization (work) plans tied to the funding gap of the PFPPA:
1-Analyze the resource gap
2-Analyze external environment
3-Match potential donors with unfunded outcomes in the PFPPA
4-Prioritize potential partners
5-Develop Resource Mobilization strategy document.
6-Review of previous RM document.

-Organizational Needs
Key Considerations:
-A review of the organization’s current resource situation is important to be able to plan resource mobilization activities realistically.
-The resource target should be based on the programs PFPPA is implementing at present and the activities planning to execute.
-Which programs or activities must be pursued that would make possible the realization of PFPPA’s organization’s mission.
-Financial management and strategic budgeting
-A Resource Timeline and frame work for 5 years.(with a series of logical frame works)
-Strategy to formulate a vital link between external funding challenges and the continued internal improvements necessary to achieve the objectives.

-Findings and Analysis
-Recommendations
-Conclusion
