JOB TITLE: Adventure Palestine Guide

JOB SUMMARY:

The Adventure Palestine Guide will lead all Adventure Palestine trips and supervise Paidia’s Adventure Palestine Youth Program. This position will give significant attention to all safety concerns associated with the Adventure Palestine program. The Adventure Palestine Guide will exemplify Paidia’s mission and vision both in and outside of work and will strive to live out the values of the Adventure Palestine Guide position.

PRIMARY TASKS
-Maintain the cleanliness, organization and safety of Paidia’s climbing tower, equipment shed and open area
-Maintain and monitor equipment usage and order additional equipment as necessary
-Oversee Adventure Palestine budget
-Lead all Adventure Palestine trips
-Supervise Adventure Palestine Youth Program
-Supervise Climbing area during Adventures in English Summer Camp
-Do necessary marketing for all Adventure Palestine programs


HOURS:

10-40/week (depending on the season)

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be/have:
-Athletic
-Flexible schedule
-Basic knowledge of outdoor adventure activities – hiking, rock climbing, caving (preferred not required)
-Enjoys the outdoors (hiking and environment)
-Excellent spoken English
-Outgoing and friendly (customer service oriented)
-Attention to detail

-Necessary training will be provided
