A regional and leading Arabic medical portal online bsuiness, t is looking for
a VP sales and business development leader with strong Internet and new media
background to join our executive team and drive the company’s sales and business
growth across the Middle East.
The successful candidate will build Portal’s directory business, develop affiliation and sponsorship programs with strategic partners, establish relationships with leading medical service providers, and initiate new revenue generating business. The candidate will also take responsibility for developing partnerships with leading media companies, advertising agencies, hospitals and other strategic players across the Middle East.
The successful candidate must be capable of working independently and, in due course, of building and leading a sales and marketing team.
Experience implementing effective online revenue generating strategies is a must. Knowledge of the medical industry is an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
-Develop and execute Portal’s sales plan.
-Generate online revenues through directory sales, sponsorships, affiliations and other strategies.
-Develop meaningful relationships with strategic partners.
Desired Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Proven record in online sales and marketing.
-Demonstrated capability to develop strategic partnerships.
-Excellent management and communication skills.
The position is located in Amman, Jordan. Frequent travel is required.
